How you will spend your time
In this strategic leadership role, you will collaborate with our partners to identify strategic, mutually beneficial, short-
term and long-term growth opportunities. With a cross-functional / general management lens, you will lead a team of Sales executives coaching and bringing knowledge to key decisions.
Position IFF as a Partner of Choice by leading commercial team to develop and execute business strategy (including P&L accountability) to deliver profitable sales growth
Develop high level strategies designed to deliver sustainable, profitable growth in-line with IFF corporate strategy
Create an environment that attracts, develops and retains talent : lead and manage a growing commercial team to leverage global / regional strategy to fit with markets
Guide / coach the management team to collaborate and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, guide them to deal with uncertain environment and manage change
Organizationally agile. Persuade key decision makers, managing stakeholders and resources to support the business objectives
Ignite / motivate cross functional teams to growth, guide and support them to deliver value to customers
Understand market structure, driving forces, able to identify market / business opportunities, possess strong business acumen
Foster a culture of innovation
Meet or exceed regional financial metrics
Accountable for accurate sales forecast and budget in alignment with commercial teams
Understands and internationally leverages IFF’s strategy, organization, capabilities, proprietary technologies, resources, product and service offerings
Maximize profit levers in coherence with global policy
Create, present and execute local business plan that aligns with global / regional business objectives. Update it and keep it sustainable and actionable in co-
ordination with functional teams
Supervise and approve Account plans (where applicable) with sales team to deliver sustainable, profitable growth
Lead and participate with cross functional and cross-cultural teams through specific complex and technically challenging initiatives
Prepare executive sales reports and new business activity for IFF top management
What you’ll need to be successful
Master’s or bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Mgmt., Marketing, Food Science or Chemistry.
Multi-lingual (English and Spanish)

IT acumen and ability to analyze and leverage big data points to enhance the local business plan, commercial performance and customer engagement
Has a confident, enthusiastic, dynamic personality, with ability to empower and generate interpersonal trust by delivering on commitments
15+ years of sales experience preferably in business-to-business model in Taste or adjacent industry
