Developing and implementing customer-focused marketing communications plans and campaigns for ABB’s Energy Industries business within the Latin America region.
This position works closely with the business operations and sales teams to identify growth opportunities and integrate them into the marketing communications strategy.
Additionally, the position will align with the global business strategy and regionalize global content and messages for Latin America.
Strategy : Responsible for creating, planning and implementing the marketing (and communications) strategies for the assigned area in accordance with global marketing and sales strategy and budget.
Produces action plans accordingly.
Targets Defines key Marketing targets in line with Division / Business Unit strategy and ensures these are achieved.
Messaging : Develop clear positioning and messaging; responsible for translating global content into local messages for the region.
Customer focus Determine local market needs and trends and identify growth opportunities in order to drive more leads for the Energy Industries business.
Generate demand and preference Develop and execute marketing communications campaigns including email marketing, digital marketing, social media and web content.
Utilize these tools to generate leads and gain market insights required to identify growth opportunities.
Support front-end sales team with sales kits / collateral and digital tools.
Own budget for marketing communications programs.
Plan, coordinate and implement event strategy for local Energy Industries events. Develop ways to engage customers virtually.
Support employee engagement. Develop local internal communications campaigns and plans employee events.
Bachelor s Degree in Marketing or Communications
8 years of experience in similar positions
Knowledge of Salesforce and marketing automation tools
Experience in industry of energy or automation
Experience managing budget
Project management skills
Strong writing, editing, proofreading capabilities
