This data driven role calls for a rare combination of consumer inspired analytical thinking & inter-personal ability. You will have the opportunity to work in a tight team, where you will launch, build and run DiDi's business in Mexico and nearby regions.

Be prepared for a hectic, fast paced and challenging environment. Never a dull moment!Product Operations is the interface between the HQ product team and local stakeholders, such as Marketing, PR, Legal, Operations, among others.

From early piloting and wide-scale deployment, the role oversees the technical execution and business operations of the company throughout multiple strategies.

Product Operations works on launching and landing product and technical solutions to ensure our teams can maximize their results.

The ideal candidate is motivated by bringing products and technologies to market and to our users, has strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, excellent time-management, and be ready to lead by example.

You will be constantly seeking solutions that scale, while overseeing the growth of our business. Your processes and projects will directly contribute to DiDi growth in LATAM!

Your Responsibilities :

  • Design, build and operate the restaurant support platform enabling DiDi s partners to manage their operation efficiently, effectively and at scale.
  • Plan and manage different project phases from idea conception to roll-out while ensuring timely completion of objectives and efficient resource usage.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the business to generate insights that translate into relevant product features.
  • Use data to design and to implement innovative product initiatives that positively impact multiple business and product indicators.
  • Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure product relevance and effectiveness
  • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams including City Operations and Product to drive platform adoption and long-term growth.
  • The Successful applicant :

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance or similar field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience that includes a combination of : operation, analytics, customer loyalty / retention and project management.
  • IT Skills : Strong Excel abilities are a must. Programming (SQL, Python, R) is a plus.
  • Self-starter : A self-motivated individual eager to take matters into its own hand and to drive towards concrete solutions.
  • Communication : You can communicate clearly and concisely no matter the forum. You process lots of information quickly and transform it into key insights instinctively.
  • Stakeholder Management : Ability to work across functional teams and reporting lines. You can adapt to any situation and influence stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Problem solving : You can tackle a problem from different angles and can use data driven thinking to support your ideas.
  • Process Management : Look at a process holistically or dive into the finest of details. You bring structure and order into everything you create.
  • Continuous Improvement : You benchmark against the best and you consistently look to improve upon your work.
  • Highly proficient in both English and Spanish is essential.
