Job Purpose : The O2C Business Partner is responsible for the general oversight of Order-to-Cash (O2C) duties and countries assigned to her / him.
He / She is the contact person and the interface between the in-country commercial operations and external NGSCs to guarantee a smooth process execution of the O2C function.
This role is key to handle the expectations of the key partners like the Country & Division CFOs in regards to risk management and operation excellence.
This requires a strong collaboration with the O2C teams in the NGSCs and the ECI to ensure constant information exchange, goals are aligned and good performance is delivered.
Your key responsibilities : Is the single point of contact for country stakeholders (CFOs / FSC Heads etc.) and NGSC teams for O2C activities of the assigned countries.
Coordinates with the partners to understand their requests and works with the order to cash finance teams to meet agreed objectivesEstablishes a positive relationship between the finance teams and the CFOs as like the commercial teams.

Lead all aspects of and supports the NGSC and outsourced operations in execution of O2C services to drive operational perfection, continuous improvement and joint teamwork.
Actively supports the Collection and Credit strategy to improve cash flow, to reduce deductions and mitigate financial risks and is involved in the credit assessment of the high risk strategic customers and the country credit limit.
Partners with Global Credit Management team and CFOs for risk mitigation like credit insurance and factoring agreementsManages the relationship with internal and external auditors as well as other regulatory officials for issues related to O2CComplianceSupports that all processes, policies and procedures are clearly defined, detailed, and implemented in line with Novartis standards and consistent with efficient practices.
Ensures compliance with Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM), Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM) and regulatory requirements and implementation in internal guidelinesEnsures application of agreed Novartis control procedures and actively supports to deliver SOX certificationPromotes a strong control environment and follows up on audit issues and implement correcting measures.
Minimum requirements : University level degree in Business Administration / Economics / Finance or Chartered Accountant / MBA desirable Lean / Six Sigma Certified preferred.
Fully Bilingual3 to 4 previous confirmed experience within an O2C environmentProven record to work efficient in a multi-national, matrix organizationDigital approach (RPA / AI), SAP and Microsoft OfficeExperience of running improvement projectsKnowledge and experience of dealing with government sectorWhy consider Novartis?
