Amazon is looking for a smart, motivated, and driven candidate to to drive Category Management and Strategy for a specific category.
The Senior Category Merchant Manager (CMM) will manage the portfolio of third-party merchant sellers across various product lines.
He / she will drive revenue growth, demand and traffic, conduct regular business analysis and reporting, and manage projects working with our technology teams to build a world class customer experience for our customers.
Primary responsibilities include :
Manage a Category for our 3rd party business, develop quarterly and annual strategic plans. Conduct business and financial analysis, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.
Analyze external and internal data to understand competitive landscape for owned category and identify customer trends
Own customer and seller experience; develop business cases and define requirements for new features and enhancements to our 3rd party marketplace, lead cross-
functional projects to deliver pre-defined features.
Build strong internal relationships with technology and development teams in order to deliver these projects.
Drive our day-to-day relationships with large key strategic partners. Maximize the top-line results of these relationships by ensuring the partners are effectively merchandising on Amazon, running promotions, and optimizing their integration with Amazon.

BA / BS and 8+ years of work experience or MBA and 3+ years of work experience required.
Experience in at least 2 of the following areas is required : consulting, marketing, financial analysis, business development, or product management
Fluent in both Spanish and English
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and experience delivering multiple competing projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and quantitative skills (includes ability to use tools such as Excel and Access); ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations.
Ability to think both strategically and tactically; a relentless focus on customers
Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfortable with hands-on management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, contending priorities simultaneously
Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools; knowledge of SQL a plus
Experience in Tech industry or eCommerce a plus
