Mondelez International is looking for vacancy : Warehousing Manager Position Purpose The role of HUB Warehouse Manager is to lead and manage all aspects of logistics field operations for the HUB (Monterrey / Salinas plants), being accountable for Monterrey plant R&P warehouse, Salinas plant R&P warehouse, Salinas plant finished goods palletizing department, and Salinas finished goods Mixing Center. Main Responsibilities

  • Day to Day Ops / Project Management responsibilities :
  • Orchestrate and synchronize end-to-end logistics operations at the Monterrey / Salinas plants.
  • Ensure receiving and storage operations for R&P materials take place on a timely manner to satisfy production requirements while complying with all safety, quality and internal control policies and processes.
  • Ensure effectiveness / efficiency of transportation of materials and prodcuts between Salinas and Monterrey plants.
  • Support product palletizing operation in Salinas Plant to achieve world-class level performance leveraging IL6S program and HPWS.
  • Oversee Mixing Center operations to ensure highest levels of On-Time Shipping and excellent inventory control environment from the contracted 3PL.
  • Analyze R&P and FG inventory status and trends to trigger proper actions to maintain high inventory accuracy levels, FEFO compliance, prevention of obsolete / damage inventory.
  • Stakeholder management (focus on optimised user compliance, process performance, and customer satisfaction)
  • Be part of the HUB CS&L team and acting as the coordination point for end-to-end logistics.
  • Participate with Manufacturing areas in both Salinas and Monterrey plants to drive improvement in interfaces for materials / finished goods transfers and ensure real time control of inventory and transactional processes.
  • Lead communications and reporting with NA CS&L to drive service improvement while optimizing T&W costs.
  • Lead relationship with Mixing center 3PL and ensure results reporting governance, adherence to contracted levels of performance, and continuos improvement mindset.
  • Lead relationship with bulk ingredient transloading contractor to ensure operation performance, cost control and uninterrupted flow of materials to the plant silos / tanks.
  • Participate with BD (Business Development), Engineering and Procurement areas to identify and execute strategic projects to improve service and cost for the end-
  • to-end supply chain for the HUB.

  • Benchmark other manufacturing facilities and distribution centers, both internally / externally to identify best practices and create improvement projects.
  • People Management
  • Work with reports and teams to develop capability and skills for world-class operations in terms of leadership, safety, quality, internal control, logistics, customer service.
  • Develop Supply Network standard work processes to enable end-to-end logistics optimization.
  • Create a teamwork environment where servant leadership and HPWS are key cultural elements driving high morale and employee satisfaction.
  • Academic Knowledge

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Working Knowledge

  • Experience working in Logistics and Supply Chain for minimum 10yrs
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain, transportation and DC operations. Supply Chain MBA or Foreing Trade specialization prefered.
  • Abilities

  • English Proficiency mandatory and any applicable local languages.
