Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) runs the Oracle software that runs Oracle.
OAL is responsible for implementing, running, and improving nearly all of Oracle's Enterprise Applications: ERP, CRM, HCM, SCM, you name it.
We use Oracle's own real-life business requirements as a "test bed" for innovation.
OAL influences the direction and strategy for Oracle's products through collaborative and often pioneering involvement in business applications and the company's internal use of their own enterprise application systems.
Current and recent projects include implementing Oracle's cutting-edge Fusion applications at Oracle, delivering the infrastructure to operate Oracle's Public Cloud SaaS and PaaS solutions; delivering self-service Quoting, Order and Contract Management tools to sales, and designing mobile applications.

Job Description:

The OAL’s Quote-To-Order (Q2O) team manages the entire customer buying rocess including pricing, configuration, contract management, quote generation, deal approval, and order submission.

The team works with Business partners across Sales & Deal Management, Order Management teams to design and implement innovative solutions to run their operations efficiently & optimally.

These are modern, intuitive and mobile responsive web applications using cutting edge Oracle technologies Java, OracleJet, on world class applications Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, Oracle Cloud CPQ, and others.

We are looking for a senior Product Manager to help grow the platform to the next level. In this role, you will work with various business groups to align their needs with the OAL Systems.


  • The Product Manager will be responsible for working with thebusiness and understanding their requirements.
  • The person will work closely with the Subject Matter Expert(s) inthe definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functionalrequirements.
  • Own & define the product roadmap of the one or more modules toaddress the stakeholders’ needs.
  • Identify requirements via industry standard analysis techniquessuch as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decompositionanalysis.
  • He/she will solicit requirements through interviews, workshops,and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.
  • Work with graphic designer to develop functional mock ups thatfulfill requirements and deliver optimal user experience.
  • Work closely with the development team to draft the releaseschedule and coordinate with various teams to maintain the schedule.
  • Organize Conference Room Pilots, lead User Acceptance Testing, anddrive sign-offs.
  • Develop and communicate collaterals of the System features withwider audience including sales teams & sometimes customers.
  • Track and report on the various customer pain points and develop aplan to address them in future releases.
  • Maintain & Report performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
  • Required Skills and Experience:

  • Should have 5-7 years of relevant industry experience with minimum3 years of product management.
  • Ideally worked in an Oracle systems environment, such OracleFusion Applications, Cloud CPQ, Oracle Sales Cloud, etc.
  • Technical expertise in HTML, Java or Web application developmentis a big plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability todemonstrate critical thinking.
  • ABS/MS degree in Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent discipline.
