The Retail Director, is responsible for designing and implementing national sales strategy, and customer development in Mexico.

The role is to lead and develop their sales and support team while maximizing market and territory potential and achieving sales, profitability and service goals.

S / he must understand luxury execution and serve as a passionate participant in shaping the future of the business and brand experience while creating a dynamic organization that enthusiastically and professionally sells product and builds consumer relationships.

Responsibilities : - Analyze and assess the changing customer demographics and desires in order to identify future growth opportunities throughout the local markets including both local and tourism markets.

  • Bring a truly innovative approach to the current business strategy in order to develop a fully integrated multi-channel business to the region.
  • Formulate and implement a strategy to ensure that the appropriate mix of product is represented and sold within the region in partnership with Regional & Local merchandiser- Achieve sales and profitability goals : Create and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans - forecast accurately.
  • Manage sales growth, operations, and customer development for each channel through direct reports.- Drive business through key product pillars- Drive client development activities among individual team members to cultivate new and existing clients in partnership with Marketing- Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the top sales floor and managing top client relationships.
  • Ensure Tiffany customer experience expectations are being delivered at all times.- Ensure exceptional operational support to drive sales and service.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal control procedures.- Conduct weekly sales meetings with entire Market to review activity levels, opportunities, forecasts and other Business Sales initiatives and updates.
  • Conduct monthly one-on-one reviews with Store Managers- Conduct quarterly and annual one-on-one reviews with direct reports using the Performance Management Document.
  • In partnership with Human Resources, manage employees with performance or conduct issues by utilizing the progressive discipline process and by meeting with the employee as needed.
  • Interview, recruit and conduct on-going training of knowledge, skills and product to the retail positions- Spend a minimum of two day per quarter in each individual territory coaching the Store Managers by attending client meetings, prospect meetings, etc.

  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the internal team, regional and company headquarters, and key customers through strong interpersonal skills and a hands-on, market-oriented approach.
  • Partner with the Leadership Team to develop and execute a Talent Action Plan- Continuously train, coach, and provide qualitative feedback, utilizing reward and recognition as well as performance management process to improve team engagement and performance.
