The Assistant Branch Manager is an entry level position responsible for the assistance in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team.
The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and to help increase sales to individual consumer clients.
Provide banking service to customers according to the current branch processes and procedures
Assist in creating an environment in which sales, service and operation employees and segment partners excel
Support portfolio growth and develop talent by coaching tellers to identify referral opportunities and perform sales / referral activities
Find solution to follow up disputed questions or customer’s complaint
Participate in vault opening / closure, register procedures and completion of all related documents
Inform and educate customers about banking products and services, remote channels, and mobile banking
Ensure compliance to operational goals, security procedures and risk requirements in accordance with existing procedures / processes
Responsible for assisting in managerial responsibilities
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Previous experience in banking and management required
Demonstrated ability to motivate, and influence others
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's Degree / University degree or equivalent experience
