Main responsibilities and key tasks
As our newly appointed Business Process Owner - Costing, Group you will make a real difference to the efficiency and quality of costing, providing the commercial teams with accurate and timely costing simulations, and follow-up on their realization.
Automation, standardization and optimization of our costing process and ensuring its solid governance, are among the key critical success factors.
You will be able to make a true difference by being the business partner of both plant finance and commercial teams. As part of this, you will enable to streamline the process, in particular through being involvement in key global strategic initiatives, such as :
CPQ Configure-Price-Quote (assessment phase and implementation),
Reduction of Complexity in product costings
In close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, you will :
Drive and execute business fit analysis, identify gaps, scope changes and review alternatives for future,
Set-up change in global costing governance rules and principles, make sure new practices get widely accepted in and followed by the organization,
Proactively define new / changed requirements and specific processes : Perform detailed analysis of complex process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions,
Lead the user acceptance tests of the developed IT solutions,
Monitor the performance and effectiveness of specific process (including definition and follow-up of KPIs),
As needed, identify and document new design scenarios
Master’s degree in business economics or equivalent
3 years relevant work experience
You are familiar with controlling and have a good knowledge of practices for planning and performance management of costing speed and accuracy
Team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and information
Able to work autonomously, with strong leadership and influence skills
Hands-on and pragmatic
Has excellent communication and fluent English
Eager to work in an international and multi-cultural environment
IT-literate, strong excel skills and knowledge of SAP ECC SD, FICO and other (front-end) sales tools is an asset
