The role requires strong experience in web publishing, content analysis, standards definition, customer research, documenting requirements, analytical testing and close cooperation with geographically distributed Publishing teams.
Motivate yourself and others to research, explore and identify areas for improvement across various web content management systems.

Coordinate customer advocacy initiatives giving a voice to Oracle’s 150K+ internal users
Implementing a feedback loop for all enhancements enabling Oracle IT to adapt and more accurately reflect internal customer needs.
Identifying and documenting critical enhancements to Oracle’s products working closely with product teams to make these a reality
Share your expertise with others to strengthen the team
Work independently and with others to brainstorm solutions and implementations
Acting as a liaison between development teams, UI / UX teams and non-technical website owners to ensure efficient and powerful solutions to critical business challenges.
Demonstrate well-crafted web experiences.
Drive initiatives with internal website owners based on business and user requirements, best practices, standards, and guidelines you have created.
Execute, understand, and implement Oracle’s brand and visual identity
Document and provide training on Oracle web standards and best practices that you define.

BS or MS degree or equivalent
Minimum of 5+ years' experience working as a website publisher or a business analyst for web publishing team
Intermediate or better design skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including work-flow diagrams or wireframe prototypes
Experience writing user guides, help guides and supporting web publishers.
Extensive knowledge and experience with the Internet and the World Wide Web
Solid understanding of large-scale websites, Content management systems and web development lifecycle.
Possess an understanding of user experience constructs
Enthusiastic and self-motivated. Passionate about user experience and improving experience of content management platforms for end users.
Extremely organized, detail-oriented, able to work to deadlines and multi-task
Skill in documentation, creating and instilling new processes and procedures
Creative problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills

Work closely with vendors, contractors, and global team members
Open to learning new technologies.

As part of a software project implementation team, provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user needs.
Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business specifications.
Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
