A big challenge for marketers today is managing digital assets for delivery through multiple channels including but not limited to websites and social media.

They need to collaborate to create and approve assets, tag them with the right metadata, and then use them to create different customer experiences.

Oracle Content and Experience Cloud is Oracle’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution which takes a holistic approach for solving these challenges by aggregating content from multiple sources and providing an intuitive interface to accomplish these tasks.

We have web, desktop and mobile apps. Oracle Content and Experience is part of the Oracle Cloud Platform. Designers working on this product are part of a design organization with visionary Interaction and Visual designers who are driven to create inviting, usable, and beautiful web & mobile applications.

The organization is already sold on the value of design and empowering user experience to lead - you will be able to focus on great design rather than explaining what you do and why it is valuable.

Designers are given room to explore innovative approaches and iterate on designs within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

It is an exciting time to be a designer at Oracle! We are looking for a User Experience Designer to help define or support one or more of the core feature areas in Content and Experience Cloud.

You’ll also be contributing and collaborating with the larger design org defining reusable patterns and extending the design language we use across all apps.

You will need to be able to envision how people complete complex tasks in a way that is accessible, intuitive and productive.

You will also weave iconography, typography, color, space and texture together in our product and ensure that the final product is easy to use and sell.

In addition to that, you will be responsible for designing and conducting agile usability testing and evaluating and prioritizing customer feedback.

Achieving this goal requires collaboration with Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Product Managers, Quality Assurance and User Assistance throughout the design process.

At each stage, you will be an advocate for the end user while balancing technical constraints when creating accessible, beautiful and engaging user interfaces based on complex requirements and tight deadlines.

At the end of the day you will ensure we ship great looking products that are easy to use and sell and are consistent with the Oracle Design language.

Responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development.

As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply software design / usability processes in the investigation of technical problems.

May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses.

Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications / systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction.

May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically, four years of software engineering or related experience needed.
