Requires approximately 50% travel throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. The Business Line Manager- Industrial Applications will report operationally to the VP-Sales & Marketing of BYK USA and functionally to the Global Business Line Manager Industrial Applications of BYK-Chemie Wesel.
Meet operational and strategic goals of Division as well as affording all necessary sales and technical support to the network of field sales force and agent / distributor personnel within the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Implements global strategy locally
Definition of local product-portfolio and R & D projects
Develops, implements and monitors all sales strategies
Responsible for : local turnover under global pricing strategy (LRP, Forecast, RF); geographic market research on as-needed basis;
organizing and conducting Industrial Applications sales meetings
Manages, supervises and motivates their team
Supports agent and distributor network for all BL Industrial Applications end uses
Will develop key account relationships at the management level in support of the sales force at major accounts.
Establish product selling prices in cooperation with Global Business Line Manager BYK-Chemie Wesel and VP Sales & Marketing of BYK USA
Establishment and control of yearly sales budgets
Provides leadership for establishing and maintaining a safe work environment. Proactively addresses and corrects all unsafe behaviors and conditions.

BS Chemistry preferred
Formulation experience with coatings and adhesives manufacturer or allied industry experience
Technical sales experience and a minimum 3 years management experience.
Demonstrated record of effectively managing people.
