Overall responsibilities and duties :
The work of the Project Quality Engineer consists of, as Quality representative within the project launch, the Project Quality Engineer ensures the conformity of the product in accordance with the control plan and the correct application of the Quality principles (7 basic Quality in production, respect of the ISO / TS 16949 standard.
The main missions of the role are :
Ensure compliance with the requirements of the systems implemented ISO TS16949, ISO 14001 and C-TPAT focused on Quality, CIQ
Define and develop inspection instructions according to the control plan (for example : Final inspection instructions, 1st piece OK, control charts, etc.) Launch stage
Approves work instructions on production lines and ensures that all necessary inspections are included, that the necessary time is included in the standardized worksheets and that the measuring equipment is available and meets the requirements (MSA)
Ensures respect for the control plan.
Archive all Quality records according to those defined in the control plan and the Record Retention procedure during the project phase
Supports production supervisors in the implementation of the 7 basic Quality (training, implementation, monitoring, alert in case of deviation ...) phase project
Actively participates in QRCI during the project phase and ensures the rigorous application of the methodology.
Ensures that the supplier parts during the project phase are approved and validated
Drive continuous improvement on new project lines
You have the authority to stop any non-conforming product and / or process and immediately escalate it to the Quality Manager.
These functions are illustrative and not limiting to the performance of other activities that are required.
Supports Engineering Changes within its Assigned area in the Activities
Is responsible for developing and compiling all the required information of the 18 elements of the PPAP for final approval
The contact during the launch phase with the client for the approval of the PPAP.
The quality channel with the CTC Team To ensure the quality of the project.
The ideal candidate will have / be : Bachelor
Minimum education level : Industrial, Mechanical or Electronic Engineer
Minimum professional experience of 2 years as a Quality Engineer in the Automotive Industry.
Quality Production Experience.
Experience in relating to clients.
Training as internal auditor.
HIGH PPAP experience; APQP : Process Flow, AMEF, Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram.
Geometric tolerances / Reading plans.
Experience in problem solving methodology : 8D.
Knowledge of customer specifications (Kia, GM, Chrysler, VW, etc.)
