Eaton’s vehicle division is currently seeking a Quality Manager tojoin our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientesfacility.
The Quality Manager is responsible for allquality aspects and requirements for the new site start-up and on-goingoperation.
Directs the development andimplementation of the new plant's quality management system to includecontinual improvement programs through the knowledge and deployment of EatonBusiness System.
Ensures that policiesand procedures regarding all aspects of quality assurance and improvement arerigidly adhered to during all manufacturing processes.
Develop and implementplans to achieve operation and group quality goals. Ensure compliance to customer qualityrequirements and acts as principle contact for customer on quality issues.
Manage inspection, corrective action, SPC, Returned Materials, problem solvingprocess, internal audit activity, and other documentation issues as needed forthe operations.
Develops and hires theteam of quality engineers and technicians to achieve world class qualityperformance.

Be a drivingforce in ensuring a strong and committed culture of quality throughout theorganization.
Manages and directs all quality related aspectsfor the new site start-up including equipment runoff approvals, internal andexternal PPAP’s, customer quality relationship, new employee hiring anddevelopment, quality system setup, IATF certification, and definition anddevelopment of all site inspection / gaging strategies and processes.
Participate on PROLaunch gate reviews to assurethe adherence to APQP process to prevent customer complaint and keep CONC onworld class levels.
Ensures that processes needed for the qualitymanagement system are established, implemented, and maintained.
Establishes objectives, policies, andprocedures for plant quality control activities. Reports to top management performance and anyneeds for QMS improvement (Management Review).
Ensure the promotion and awareness of customerrequirements throughout the organization.
Monitors overall plant quality progress andperformance and makes corrections as needed.
Acts as a primary organizational contact forcustomer concerns and ensure appropriate corrective actions are deployed asnecessary.
Ensures that necessary organizationalcertifications and regulatory requirements are obtained, maintained, andimproved. (i.
e. IATF, QMS certification,etc.)
Ensures organizational readiness for customerand other third party assessments related to the QMS.
Manage QA department resources to maximize QMScompliance and to ensure continual improvement.
Deploy Eaton Business System tools, whereappropriate or required, to improve Quality Management System effectiveness(i.e.
EQMS, ELSS, WISPER, MESH, PROLaunch etc).
Manages and develops site quality engineers,technicians, and operators to ensure world class quality performance and a continuousimprovement culture through the utilization of the OCA and APEX..
Must work consistently to maintain safe andhealthy working conditions, to adhere to proper operating practices andprocedures designed to prevent injury and illness and to observe Federal,State, local, and overall regional company safety and health regulations.
Mustreflect an interest in company safety and health objectives and required to seta good example by always observing the rules as a part of the normal workroutine.
Develop andanalyze statistical data and product / process specifications to determinepresent standards and establish proposed quality and reliability requirementsfor the finished product.

Required (Basic) Qualifications :
Bachelor'sdegree in a technical area or equivalent.
Minimum five(5) years in Quality or Manufacturing environment
Minimumthree (3) years of leadership experience managing people
Bi-lingual(Spanish and English)
Expertknowledge of Quality Management Systems standards
Expertise inAIAG tools, auditing, statistical tools, and analysis
ProcessFailure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
AutomotiveIndustry Action Group (AIAG) Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)requirements
StatisticalProcess Control (SPC)
Preferred Qualifications :
Advancedtechnical knowledge in product design functions, manufacturing processes,inspection, metrology, metallurgy, statistical methods, and quality auditing
