OBHG Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any OB emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.
This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time.
We are seeking OB / GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.
As a clinician-centered company, OBHG provides unparalleled support and resources and superior work / life balance. Full-time Hospitalists have the freedom to create their own schedules typically eight 24-hour shifts per month with no on-call duty or office management.

The private nonprofit hospital is licensed for 258 hospital beds and 28 skilled nursing beds to serve residents in the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding communities.
The hospital's birth center is equipped with 13 rooms for labor, delivery, recovery and mother-baby care. The facility has been designated as Baby-Friendly as part of a global initiative from the World Health Organization and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
The hospital's Family Birth Center was ranked in the top 10 out of 251 hospitals in California for its breastfeeding education and support.
Monterey is located on California's central coast on the southern edge of Monterey Bay. The city is home to 27,000 residents and is conveniently located 115 miles south of San Francisco and 350 miles north of Los Angeles.
Monterey is just minutes from Pebble Beach and Carmel-by-the-Sea.
In the 1930s and 1940s, Monterey was the sardine capital of the world with a thriving fishing industry. Today, the city is home to a smaller commercial fishing fleet, with the local economy powered by healthcare, private sector businesses, education and government.
Once a key military outpost, Monterey maintains its military tradition with the Defense Language Institute, the Naval Postgraduate School and Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center.
