SYSTEMS REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER Queretaro, Qro.
Located at Queretaro, Qro, Mexico, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for eliciting, and analyzing customer requirements, developing and documenting detailed understanding of how electronic components interact with Customer Vehicle architecture.
The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring other engineering disciplines have a common understanding as the team delivers the product.
This role will interact internally with Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing groups as well as Project management to ensure quality delivery of the final product
Work with OEM Customers to define / refine desires and features into specifications.
Review and analysis of customer requirements and component specifications.
Evaluate customer and internally requested changes
Develop a detailed understanding of Vehicle / Network architecture and how components interact.
Author and Release Systems Requirements Documents based on Customer Specific Requirements and internal stakeholders
Lead Internal System Engineering peer reviews and / or Technical Design Reviews
Provide design support through the entire product life cycle, from development to production launch of the product
Perform Vehicle, Breadboard, plant testing, and troubleshooting, capturing logs and other measurements to determine the root cause of issues.
Support development of OEM plant diagnostics
Systems Engineering Configuration Management.
Support Software, Systems Validation and Engineering groups as required.
Years of Experience : 5+ years’ related experience
Degree Strongly Preferred : BS / BA in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Embedded Software, Physics, Math).
Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.

Experience with communication interfaces (CAN, LIN, MOST, USB, Bluetooth, UART, Automotive Ethernet is a plus)
Familiar with Requirements Systems Engineering tools and methodologies such as DOORS or TcSE.
UML / SysML and modeling skills are a plus
Ability to perform requirements review and analysis.
Must have a positive attitude, good oral and written communication skills, and able to work well in a team environment
Good technical leadership, planning and organization / control skills
Ability to work in parallel tasks which may or may not be correlated.
Basic Digital / Analog Electronics, and microcontrollers knowledge
Embedded Software knowledge is a plus
Working knowledge of hardware / software analysis tools (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, CANalyzer, CANOE, etc.)
Familiarity / Knowledge with Tuner concepts / Radio Frequency transmissions (AM / FM / RDS / DAB) is a plus
Familiarity with Mobile Computing and Cloud Computing technology is a plus
Familiarity with Head Units / Infotainment Systems, Connectivity, Hands-free technology is a plus
Special Requirements (i.e. overtime, travel, etc.)
Occasional international or domestic travel required
English skill is a must, other languages preferred.
