These teams are working towards delivering a powerful yet flexible technology platform keeping the needs of end customer in mind.
The development teams ensure that all codes are delivered to clients with the highest quality. Product managers are technical and capital market experts who work together to design and build the software and product roadmap, whereas;
QA team constantly aims at enhancing the quality of Calypso’s platform delivery through test methodologies for implementations, upgrades and migrations.
Calypso Technology is seeking a Senior Information Security Architect, with at least 5 years of relevant experience gained in Application Security or Penetration Testing.
This should include experience securing cloud-based services and applications. The position is reporting directly to our Director of Information Security.
Ensure that all Calypso applications adhere to security best practices at an architecture / design level down to the implementation.
Help the engineering teams in following these standards : provide guidance, training, procedures, libraries, utilities and testing tools (procure these or develop them if necessary).
Conduct security code reviews.
Recommend and implement new security tools as part of our software development lifecycle.
Work in collaboration with our operations team to maintain and enhance the security of our cloud-based services (as part of our software as a service solution).
Monitor and, if required, escalate security concerns in existing applications or new projects.
Contribute to the Security Policy that shapes how we interact with our customers regarding security concerns. This includes matters from responsible disclosure to our service-level agreement (response times, patch delivery procedures, etc.).
Assist our customer-facing organization (sales, on-site consultants, product support) with security-related questions.
Raise general security-awareness across the whole organization
Skills & Requirements
An academic degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Software development experience (including but not limited to the Java programming language and web applications).
Advanced understanding of Application Security topics (OWASP Top 10 and more).
Understanding the concepts of modern cryptography (encryption, digital signatures, password hashing, certificates, certification authorities and public-key infrastructure).
Experience implementing strong authentication (technologies like Microsoft Active Directory, Kerberos or multi-factor authentication, and protocols like LDAP, SAML, OAuth or OpenID Connect).
Experience with enterprise applications (databases, firewalls, VPNs, web servers, application servers, messaging middleware etc.).
Experience with networks and protocols (HTTP, SSL / TLS, SSH, SFTP, DNS, etc.).
Experience with cloud-based deployments, infrastructure as code, DevOps.
Experience working with virtual machines and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux systems.
Good communication skills. Fluency in English and Spanish
Ability to lead projects autonomously, take initiatives and mentor more junior colleagues
