The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for achieving results through the establishment and follow-up of work programs and plans in order to assure the optimal administration of warehouses of the company as well as the efficient and economical use of the space, handling of raw material, finished goods, spare parts, packaging and RM and FG high volume avg.
25 - 30 trailers per day. Might include the design and control of the processes of storage and inventory, Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
Includes warehousing, routing, logistics and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation;
enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Responsible for the management of material inventory levels to ensure that raw material components and manufactured products are available when needed to satisfy the plant and customer requirements.
Planning and procurement of material components to minimize obsolescence and overstock situations while achieving maximum customer service levels.
Ensure inventory control systems are up to date and inventory accuracy, forecast future capacity requirements
Follows, adheres, and fosters EH&S compliance guidelines.
Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and equipment
Develop and implement process improvement practices and protocols to achieve an efficient while reducing costs.
Monitor workplace performance and leads training initiatives to improve employees’ performance and foster growth opportunities within the team
Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications
Follows, adheres, and fosters Quality compliance guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Logistics / Warehouse and / or Manufacture
2+ years of manufacturing experience, logistic / Warehouse environment
Advance proficiency in English
Working knowledge of : MRP, PRMS / Warehouse Software’s
CT-PAT, Export / Import experience
Solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a diverse population including union base employees
Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
Previous experience working in a medical device environment preferred
Lean six sigma tools (Yellow belt / Green Belt / kaizen Leader training) preferred
