Our Record toReport team are responsible for completing general accounting transactionsacross the JCI business portfolio, whilst at the same time, ensuring that wemeet our internal and external reporting and control requirements.

How you will do it :
In your role as anRTR Senior Accountant you will be responsible for the recording of all relevanttransactions into the General Ledger and the reconciliation some of our mostcomplex accounts on a monthly basis.
You will also support other financeoperations by providing timely reporting as needed. This role interacts with awide range of internal stakeholders including other internal finance teams andlocal business finance leads.
In your day today role, you will be expected to complete the appropriate actions for yourledger in a timely and accurate manner to enable to correct reporting of thebusiness’ financial performance.
With a strong analytical approach, you will supportthe business by understanding and implementing improvements to our controlenvironments including internal compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
You will alsohave the opportunity to assist in our standardization efforts, as we worktowards consistent and consolidated processes and systems throughout JCIglobally, and support junior colleagues as a point of escalation.

Position Requirements :
Advanced / FluentEnglish, strong verbal and written communication skills
Degree in accountingor Business finance
4+ Years in complexaccounting role
Part or fullyqualified accountant (CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual should have good accounting skills and IT literacy;(including intermediate skills in Microsoft® Excel), including
Ability to utilizebasic formulas
Utilize Pivot Tablesand V-Lookups
Excellent customerservice, organizational, communication, and follow-up skills, with the abilityto work in a fast paced team environment while meeting deadlines
Ability to perform moderatelycomplex account reconciliation preferred
Experience with ERPs(i.e. SAP, Oracle, iScala) an advantage
Demonstratedknowledge and experience in reconciling accounts along with demonstratedcapability of presenting outcomes to stakeholders
Innovative andconstantly looking for opportunities to improve within a controls environment
Experience of workingin Shared Service Centre / Retained / Outsourced environment an advantage
