Role Summary :
Responsible for ensuring product quality compliance in terms of non-destructive testing based on customer needs, international specifications and standards.
Develop inspection procedures, instructions, training plans, as well as their execution, training of quality inspectors, examining and qualifying them;
is responsible of quality records management derived from the inspection, as well as for meet business expectations and customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities :
Ensure that all stages of the inspection process related to NDE are completed
Verify that the product is manufactured in accordance with the specified plans
Verify the effective application of manufacturing and inspection standards and guarantee that the specific requirements of the product are met
Carry out follow-up activities related to audit findings closure and effectiveness revisions
Provide training to operators, as well as inspectors, if deficiencies are detected in specific tasks identified during the procedures execution
Tasks performance required by the ISO / API standards, such as internal or external audit reports and communication of specific metrics
Quality plans revision as needed by customers and new projects
Create verification databooks for new projects
Supervision, train and evaluate the company's NDE inspectors
Control of consumables, tools and equipment required in the NDE area
Ensure that quality records are kept on time as a result of the inspections performed
Responsible for the calibration monitoring of equipment used in NDE
Responsible for the creation and approval of the "Technique Sheets" necessary for non-destructive testing
Qualifications / Requirements :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality)
Job requirements are meet according with any of the following options :
Have graduated from a minimum four-year college or university curriculum with a degree in engineering or science, plus one additional 4 years of experience beyond the NDT Level II requirements in NDT in an assignment at least comparable to that of an NDT Level II in the applicable NDT method(s)
Have completed with passing grades at least two years of engineering or science study at a university, college, or technical school, plus six additional years of experience beyond the NDT Level II requirements in NDT in an assignment at least comparable to that of NDT Level II in the applicable NDT method(s)
Have eight years’ experience beyond the NDT Level II requirements in NDT in an assignment at least comparable to that of an NDT Level II in the applicable NDT method(s)
Or four years being certificated as level II ASNT or ISO 9712.
