  • Promotes a good working environment and maintains low turnover rates within the Site.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection;
  • conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.

  • Prepares associates for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets;
  • monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.

  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of associates work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees;
  • scheduling management conferences with associates hearing and resolving associates grievances; counseling associates and supervisors.

  • Maintains associates benefits programs and informs associates of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends;
  • recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids;
  • awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.

  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations;
  • maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.

  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning associates;
  • following up on work results.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Candidate Requirements :

  • BS and / or / MS degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Proven working experience of at least 5 years as Human Resource Manager; HR Management experience in a large manufacturing operation (>
  • 3,000 employees).

  • In-depth knowledge of Mexico labor law and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience with HR metrics
  • Proven experience in high impact cost down organization projects.
  • Experience as a hands-on HR Generalist
  • Knowledge of HR systems (HRIS) and databases.
  • Excellent problem solver, strong execution, direct and to the point.
  • People oriented and results driven; self-directed and self-starter.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, coupled with active listening skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Fully bilingual in English (80%+) and Spanish fluency.
  • Able to travel occasionally.
