Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets;
monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of associates work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees;
scheduling management conferences with associates hearing and resolving associates grievances; counseling associates and supervisors.
Maintains associates benefits programs and informs associates of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends;
recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids;
awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations;
maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning associates;
following up on work results.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Candidate Requirements :
BS and / or / MS degree in Human Resources or related field.
Proven working experience of at least 5 years as Human Resource Manager; HR Management experience in a large manufacturing operation (>
In-depth knowledge of Mexico labor law and HR best practices.
Demonstrated experience with HR metrics
Proven experience in high impact cost down organization projects.
Experience as a hands-on HR Generalist
Knowledge of HR systems (HRIS) and databases.
Excellent problem solver, strong execution, direct and to the point.
People oriented and results driven; self-directed and self-starter.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, coupled with active listening skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
Fully bilingual in English (80%+) and Spanish fluency.
