Description Responsible to keep the production areas working according with the goals that the plant manager provide to accomplish our customer requirements, Successfully supervise 100-
150 employees in manufacturing processes within Assembly Department, meeting or exceeding goals for production, safety, and quality.
Emphasis on employee relations, housekeeping, and scrap reduction. Work with existing policies for consistent application. Responsibilities
Keep hourly attendance records.
Work together with HR department to review the manning of the production areas.
Work together with HR department to apply disciplinary sanctions whenever is need it.
Work Together with the training department to provide proper training to operators and certification.
Maintain and follow up our operator's rotation plan.
Hold communication meetings at least twice a week with our operators to talk about safety, quality and other different topics that they consider important.
Work with the safety and environmental department to comply with our regulations according to our federal and state laws.
Take care of the right use and amount of personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools that are provide to our operators to perform their job.
Work together with the materials and quality departments to return the partial containers of raw materials and empty containers.
Work with engineering & maintenance departments to fill up the formats for preventive maintenance or process improvement whenever is necessary.
Work with engineering & quality departments to give the right disposition to non-conformance or scrap materials.
One to three (1-3) Years year degree plus 5+ years of related experience or 8+ years equivalent combination of education and experience as Team Leader / Manager or previous Supervisor role
Three to five (3-5) year Bachelor's degree
Lean manufacturing (5S / SMED / Kan-Ban / Poka-Yoke / Ergonomic) certifications a plus
English (desired not required)
Communication, leadership, ownership and time availability to roll in between shifts and work extra hours.
