Your contribution at AIG : Receiving documents and information regarding claims and deciding if the case is payable and to what amount, while keeping with the terms and conditions of the governing policy.
An adjuster must reply to requests and questions from clients and providers regarding claim or payment status. Respond to client queries within established SLAs.
Review and close claims within the allotted times. Maintain their workbook up to date. Make claim decisions based on policy terms and conditions.
Exercise control over expenditures in order to maintain payments within budget and policy conditions. Write explanatory responses denying coverage when necessary.
Externally you will interact with clients, providers and customers who require our service Internally you will interact with assistance coordinators, local teams (Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, etc.
What we are looking for Knowledgeable of insurance products for health, life, travel, auto or other types of policies. 2-3 years experience in claims insurance departments English fluency is a must, Portuguese is a plus.
