The Jr. Market Controller Analyst is the business partner for various operational areas of the company and supports with financial information the market strategy execution.
The Analyst is responsible for generating reliable and timely financial / accounting information for decision making and ensuring the correct reporting of financial accounting closings, analyzing variations in financial results and providing explanations and guidance support to the respective operational and management partners.
Despites the financial reporting responsibilities the analyst assurance the compliance of all financials process with the corporate policies and participates and develops improvement projects that allow the generation of simple and robust processes as well as generating time and monetary savings.
Main controlling responsibility of this particular Market Controlling Analyst position for Specialty tires, Retread and PE controlling.
Performing monthly and annual financial-accounting closings that are in accordance with the corporate financial reporting rules and deadlines, including collaborative work with management to analyze and interpret the results
Prepare and review financial information as well as implement monthly variation reports for responsible areas (Actual vs. Budget / Forecast)
Prepare and analyze Forecast / Budget for the Specialty Tires BU, Retread and PE controlling.
Prepare and analyze Forecast / Budget of Period Expenses for legal entity
Consolidate the company wide cost center budget and tracking
Analysis and validation of rebates for all responsible business area
Provide accurate profitability analysis by product, customers, brands and / or customer groups
Create management reports and / or charts / graphs for the management team
Generate obsolete product reports that allow for promotional and / or material destruction decisions
Provide and / or validate Salesman bonus calculation for responsible areas
Identify areas of opportunity prepare / lead improvement projects in cross-functional teams to evaluate / implement process improvements, cost and sales opportunities.
Maintain and improve financial reporting systems (e.g., Cosimo, TMS, SAP TEMPO) that ensures accurate presentation of financial results
Prepare information for internal and external audits
Review and approval of credit / debit notes related to commercial programs, price differences, claims
Approval and validation of electronic Disbursement Requests (eDR’s)
Ensure high standards in information quality
