Create a Value Stream Map for the entire process to find Non Value Added Activities and human mistakes. Establish a Future State of each Sub-

process and Define Kaizens to eliminate and / or reduce Waste. Develop a Strategy to Measure and Improve Accuracy between ERP and Customs Systems (ZOE / IMMEX and SAP).

Implement mechanisms trough the continuous improvement culture and methodology, to integrate operations and customs objectives.

Design sustainable procedures to simplify Foreign Trade duties. Keep records & archive for any government programs related with plants inventories.

OEA-NEEC, and the future VAT Certification)

Your responsibilities

  • Work with X-Functional teams to support daily customs clearances and own inventories issue resolution.
  • Identify Customs-Inventory risks areas and develop actionable plans and procedures to mitigate those risks.
  • Evaluate Customs (Governance & Monitoring) internal controls and drive implementation of recommended improvement plans into each unit of business(plants) Vs Inventory control (BOMs)
  • Act in front of Customs officials (Customs authorities) for any inquiries and audits related to specific transactions and processes (Inventory and Document Control).
  • Prepare periodic reports and metrics on quality, savings, opportunities, risks, accomplishments and value creation.
  • Participate on applicable ABB Customs Communities, and apply best practices to all unit of business.
  • Support the execution of the respective Customs-Compliance-Inventory processes to coordinate compliant transactions while meeting the business requirements

  • Your background

    We are looking for a candidate with Bachelor's degree in Customs & Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related to international Trade.

    You must also have the following knowledge, skills and experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Customs, Purchasing, and Inventory.
  • Strong oral and written communication in English
  • Demonstrated Compliance / Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to use knowledge, experience and instinct to make accurate and timely decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and critically
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, SAP, and Customs Inventory Control-IMMEX.
