3 years of supervisory experience, high volume environment, preferably chemical manufacturing. Experience on Direct supervision of Plating setters, Loaders, Unloaders, Material Handlers, Rack Changers, 100% Inspectors, Team Leaders. (Preferred)
BS degree, preferably in Chemistry. mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering.
Intermediate level of english.
A strong understanding of Plating processes, transporters and process flow diagrams will be a strong plus.
Experience on Zinc and Zinc nickel plating on calipers (Preferred)
Knowledge of MS Office, (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work in a team environment.
Participate and be engaged with process trouble-shooting & scrap focus efforts (A3’s, PDCA, issue timelines, develop standard responses / actions for scrap issues)
Working knowledge of ISO, QS and TS quality systems and certifications desirable.
Manage all production personnel RR&Es (Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations) including but not limited to : Safety & technical training, 5S, standardized work, shift to shift communications, work schedules & overtime management, labeling and operational improvements, coaching and leadership presence to support all production initiatives, etc.
Lead all groups within the production team(s) to develop and improve KPI’s, process standardization, team chemistry, shift transfer and communications, and overall production performance.
Coach, develop and, track training initiatives for team members by auditing their abilities and verifying use of standard work
