As a UCC System Engineer you will be part of the Poly Global Engineering Services Team. The UCC System Engineer is responsible for setting up, installing, maintaining, monitoring and securing UCC applications in support of Poly’s Global IT teams.
Leverage best-in-class global practices to lead, develop, deliver and support enterprise wide programs and technology establishing Poly as an employer of choice’.
What you’ll do :
Install, configure, support, monitor, test, optimize, and troubleshoot problems pertaining to deployment, integration, and implementation of new hardware and software in complex server and application environments.
Provide Subject matter expertise for UCC applications and infrastructure.
Utilize scripting skills to build reports and automate routine tasks.
Support system administration standards, processes, and security at Poly’s Global sites.
Maintain a professional demeanour when dealing with internal customers.
Assist with providing an effective high-level assessment of technology costs, benefits, and risks to develop and deliver total solutions.
Evaluate, test, and document technology and solutions aligned with Poly’s business initiatives.
Deliver projects on time and within budget, while working with minimal supervision.
Experiencia y requisitos
We would love to hear from you if :
Minimum 10 years of experience in UCC (Unified Communication and Collaboration) technologies.
Good experience with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
Good knowledge of SIP and H.323.
Good knowledge of TCP / IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience analyzing voice traffic and packet captures (Wireshark or other tools).
Knowledge of SBCs (Session Border Controllers), Ribbon and Acme Packet.
Knowledge of VOIP devices, Phones, ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter).
Knowledge of UCC System Administration and SecOps best practices.
Knowledge of software development processes.
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
90% English Spoken and Written.
