LSEG is looking for a Solutions Consultant with base in Mexico City!

Position Summary

As an essential component of the sales team, this role collates and synthesizes requirements to develop innovative presentations of high level and end to end solution options to enable sale closure and sell value.

With technical and subject expertise, the Solution Consultant supports the sales motion through in-depth knowledge of specific customer workflows and relevant technologies.

You will collaborate with Sales & Account Management, Customer Proposition, Customer Operations, and Technology to address distinct customer workflow needs that can include multiple products, third party solutions, and new capabilities.

Responsibilities :

  • Involved in complex propositions that include building a Proof of Concept, professional services, third party solutions, and integration with client workflow / systems
  • Brings a mix of technical, product, content, data science, and customer workflow expertise to collaboratively craft solutions (e.
  • g., clarification, specification, documentation, or technical design)

  • Captures customer-specific technical and data requirements through interactions with partners, third parties, and customers
  • Coordinates internal stakeholders (Customer Proposition / Customer Operations) to meet customer solution needs
  • Runs detailed technical customer presentations for complex propositions
  • Works with Customer Operations to deliver Proof of Concept including development / integration work
  • Works with Customer Operations to own and define proposals and Statements of Work
  • Ensures collaboration with Customer Operations implementation team
  • Qualification and Experience Required :

  • 3+ years of financial industry experience with a consistent record in supporting the sale of product solutions in complex and exciting environments
  • University degree with Information Technology or Engineer background
  • Previous pre-sales experience for software or technical products is highly valued
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages
  • Good presentation and communication skill
  • Basic understanding of the sales cycle
  • Knowledge of web protocols such as HTTP, Web Socket, XML, and JSON
  • Knowledge of the financial industry concepts such as buy-side, sell-side, trading, quantitative analysis, etc.
  • Knowledge of market data and data feeds for the financial markets
  • Proficient in English and Spanish
