About the job :

  • Responsible for leading and managing the finance function for the Ensenada manufacturing facility
  • Working as the financial planning and analysis lead supporting the VP of Manufacturing
  • Accountable for controlling inventory and working with business partners to develop an annual plan and subsequent forecasts of inventory to adjust raw materials and WIP based on demand and Factory yield.
  • Responsible for the analysis, forecasting and budgeting of operating expenses and Capital investment.
  • Creating measurement systems and monitor results of productivity objectives and report monthly financial results to Manufacturing leaders;
  • ensuring everyone is on the same page regarding variances from plan and impact to subsequent periods

  • Evaluating the financial impact of strategic initiatives, ensure costs are properly captured for Conversion cost by PL.
  • Responsible to ensure processes and procedures are in place and adhered to around inventory control and production transactions
  • Educate the plants on business acumen
  • Responsible for managing and direction of the financial analysts supporting plant operations
  • What you need :

  • Required : Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Finance position in the manufacturing industry
  • Preferred : CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
  • Proven business partnering skills supporting Manufacturing organizations are essential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify financial and accounting issues for non-finance managers are critical
  • SAP working knowledge
  • Hyperion knowledge (Planning, ESSBASE, HFM)
  • Proven analytical abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and management skills
  • Intermediate / advanced Excel and / or Access skills
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and / or lean tools to solve problems for specific process improvement initiatives
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Business process improvement focused
  • Management experience
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Proven ability to ability to participate, support and provide appropriate analysis for internal and external executive discussions to drive continuous improvement in business results and processes
