YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create a working environment that is clean, well organized and that prevents accidents and reduce safety risks for our team members.
Ensure that our processes enable our people to produce high quality engines with very low risk of committing mistakes.
Ensure that our line balancing and processes maximize the VA / NVA ratio while taking into consideration our workers reality, using lean manufacturing tools.
Work with logistics to identify the best kanban and sequencing strategies to maximize efficiency and space usage.
Create the proper tools to translate the balancing and work instructions into information that can be used efficiently in a high speed and demanding environment.
Deliver the processes for the next generation of engines by working closely with the New Project Development team.
Participate in developing the FMEA’s to ensure adapted counter-measures to the risks in the engines assembly.
Help create a continuous improvement culture by using lean manufacturing principles and our BRPMS tools.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bilingual (80% English & Spanish), both oral and written
Industrial Engineer or similar
Energetic personality and leadership skills
Customer oriented and team working skills
Knowledge and experience using continuous improvement tools (ex : six sigma)
5 to 8 years of experience in a production environment
