Retail Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring all BOH roles and responsibilities are performed effectively along with partnering with management in monitoring P&L, customer service, and personnel.

General Responsibilities

1. Execute and implement policies and procedures according to BALENCIAGA Operations Manual and perform daily shipping and receiving roles and responsibilities efficiently :

a. Trouble shoot sku discrepancies upon arrival

b. Receive merchandise effectively through JDA

c. Reconcile monthly store reconciliation

2. Repairs :

a. Oversee and execute the completion of repairs in a timely manner

b. Clearly communicate with corporate office, staff and customers on any repair issues

c. Ship out repair weekly and follow up with repair consistently

d. Partner with Customer Service Manager to place spare parts

3. Inventory :

a. Perform cycle count weekly and email cycle count report weekly

b. Monitor and resolve negatives in a timely manner to prevent any variance

c. Maintain and organize BOH to prevent any LP issues and sales issues

d. Prepare and organize annual inventory according to Kering guideline

4. Monitor supplies and monitoring cost management :

a. Ensure that supplies are well equipped at all times and order supplies when needed

b. Place Stationary Order with US Retail Performance Manager

c. Order supplies through Uline and Premier Supplies

5. Participate in all necessary Weekly and Monthly reports :

6. Support the sales floor and resolve staff and client issues accordingly

7. Responsible to perform Opening & Closing procedure :

a. Perform all Opening & Closing procedures according to BAL / Kering guidelines

b. Perform daily cash deposit and go to the bank if needed

c. Make sure that all technical issues such as POS and computer system is functioning properly, if not, reach out to the appropriate individual

8. Facilitates management and maintenance :

a. Coordinate HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire monitoring,

elevator maintenance, pest control, as well as store planning updates

with local GC

b. Verizon maintenance updates with IT tech when Store Manager is not

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and
  • Word Processing), JDA, etc

  • Proven experience in a similar role within other fashion luxury companies
  • 5+ years of experience in Ops Management within a retail and / or corporate
  • environment

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Proven ability to drive results
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
  • Talent for managing, coaching and developing a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion for fashion industry and high level of personal performance
