We are looking for a AWS (Amazon Web Services) Support Engineer!
â€¢ Responsible for day-to-day customer care and administration of cloud services
â€¢ Respond to customer service issues using email, phone, and web conference technology
â€¢ Able to write effective handoff from shift-to-shift for cloud support issues
â€¢ Coordinate with other teams to handoff build guidance to complete orders where managed service support is request
â€¢ Coordinate with other services teams where cloud & virtualization specific issues are escalated
â€¢ Responsible for general health and maintenance of cloud service offerings
â€¢ Contribute to new products and feature enhancements and documentation
â€¢ Provide advice and information to customers and colleagues regarding Amazon Web Services and general cloud infrastructure as service offerings and best practices
â€¢ Produce written designs and documentation regarding proposed or actual cloud deployments
Desired knowledge :
â€¢ Experience with AWS IaaS and PaaS
â€¢ Experience with AWS services : EC2, Opsworks, S3, SQS, SES, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, Lambda, EFS, Glacier, Kinesis, AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift
â€¢ knowledge of UNIX systems (Linux) and Windows Server
â€¢ Analyze and resolve configuration issues in development, test, and production environments.
â€¢ Build effective monitoring, logging and auditing.
â€¢ Experience with scripting
â€¢ Experience with AWS and 3rd party monitoring tools
â€¢ Experience with Windows and Linux-based operating system configuration, automation and management
â€¢ AWS Certified SysOps Administrator â€ Associate certification is a plus
â€¢ Some networking experience -routers, switches, firewalls.
â€¢ Solid research skills with an emphasis on finding and using information quickly
â€¢ Strong oral and written communication skills, team player mentality
Computer Science / Information Technology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
