Head of GlobalTransformation Centre México

The Head of GTC Mexico is responsible for leadinglarge pools of change specialists managing complex programmes, significantchange programmes, transactions programmes, etc.

across multiple locations,from a cost, capability and delivery perspective. The role holder will ensurethe timely mobilization, management of supply to demand in line with therequirements and priorities articulated by the Global Business and Functions withjoined efforts with IT and Operations.

The role holder will support the design led change andenable transformation through implementation of robust business analysis,change & implementation activities and programme and project management.

The role holder will report to the Global Head ofGTCs, and will be part of their leadership team, playing a critical role in theexecution of Transformation strategy.

At a site level, the role holder will be responsiblefor ensuring the day to day management of all teams on site and collectivelymanage the upskilling and capability development of all Global Business andFunctions.

They will be responsible for the delivery of quality resource in atimely manner, creating an environment for the development of capability of ourpeople for Global Transformation priority activities.

As a leader within Global Transformation the roleholder will ensure that EPMO, Project and Programme teams split amongst thedifferent priorities and continue to be effectively deliver and manage risk.

Support Global Head of GTC and Head of GSC in managing and leadingchange bank wide.

  • Provide key inputs in the delivery of highly complex and businesscritical change effort in accordance with existing industry best practices andmethodologies;
  • hereby establishing credibility for the Transformation team.

    Conduct capacity planning and take appropriate actions to manage GTCheadcount in line with business / function requirements and Transformationconstraints.

    Respond to the demand for right shoring capability from global portfolio,EPMO, Programme and Project management support and resource management processthrough appropriate hiring / augmentation of resources through service partnersand continued development of GTC resources.

    Ensure all agreed costs; quality and delivery commitments to stakeholdersmade by the teams are met; oversee commitments and provide support wherenecessary.

    Effectively manage overall team cost; develop team budget and implementcost control mechanisms to ensure that the team costs adhere to the approvedbudget.

    Proactively monitor areas of concern and global risks; provide recommendationto mitigate them to ensure portfolio / programme objectives and delivery SLAsare met.

    Promote adherence to project / programme governance model and use ofPortfolio Management Services defined standards and tools for processes such asrisk logs, change control and resource requests.

    Ensure maximum staff utilization through resource deployment ontopriority project and programmes as part of wider supply / demand balancing,maximizing the value added to the business.

    Build collaboration between Transformation teams, sharing best practice,ensuring consistency of approach and delivery;engender recognition ofTransformation added value within markets and business areas.

    Manage the GTC and people collaboratively and collectively across theGTC Leadership Team to deliver the services and provide the capability todeliver programmes and projects required.

    Knowledge

    Outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours,processes and objectives.

    Strong experience in delivering Programme / PMO services across lines ofbusiness and functions.

    Experience and knowledge of Transformation.

    Very strong knowledge of the external environment regulatory,political, competitors etc.

    Outstanding knowledge of Transformation team functionally,operationally and financially.

    Experience

    Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with SeniorManagement across the Group.

    Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-culturaldiverse work environments.

    Strong analytical background and proven ability in analytical rigor,including being able to contextualize data into business activities andconclusions.

    Proven ability in successfully designing and implementing large-scale,complex global / regional change initiatives.

    Evidence of successfully managing financial plans.

    Successful experience in developing and retaining critical talent andbuilding an effective leadership team.
