Responsibilities : Service Orientation
Maintain and build strong relationships with Partners and Lawyers in Mexico, the Information & Research Manager (Mexico), Regional I&R Lead, regional Specialist functions (Information Product Lead / Manager and Research Lead / Manager), Knowledge Lawyers and with external suppliers for local information resources
Demonstrate value through effective communication with stakeholders and key relationships
Knowledge & Expertise
Understand and promote the role and functionality of the Firm's research, content and information repositories and resources
Manage the procurement of local information resources in alignment with Information Product Management policies and in consultation with the Information Product Management Lead / Regional Manager.
Manage the relationship with local external information vendors
Demonstrate ongoing learning and professional accountability that cultivates communication and collaboration, fostering immediate and long-term goals
Deliver the Mexico information resources training plan, linked to GPG / GIG information and research strategy, and working with the Research Specialist function and Service Centers to provide full information and KM resource training support.
Develop, deliver, and assess learning opportunities that prepare trainees, lawyers, and others for workplace excellence
Ensure and facilitate timely access to relevant legal information and research resources to support lawyers providing advice to clients
Manage and coordinate the referral of local enquiries to the appropriate Center and then respond to enquiries requiring In-Market expertise for research, information or initial current awareness set-up as applicable
Work with the Information & Research Manager ( Mexico) and Research Lead / Business Research Manager, liaise with internal clients to learn about their business focus and information needs
Apply industry thinking, initiative and experience when providing information and research
Collaborative, supportive team player working with other In-Market Librarians and the wider Information & Research and Knowledge communities
Support and participate in the adoption and use of Knowledge and I&R systems
Participate in and lead projects as requested
Be aware of and participate in Firm's goals. Participate in setting and aligning Library team goals with PG goals, managing resources, and evaluating use.

Skills and Experience :
Relevant undergraduate degree
Good relevant experience with strong experience of Knowledge, information and research in professional services environment
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, build strong relationship virtually, communicate effectively, comfortable working in large, complex environment, highly credible and persuasive
Strong people management and organizational skills; ability to prioritise and manage people's time to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to drive results and sense of urgency in setting strategies and executing against the objectives
Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders, strong collaboration skills and effective stakeholder management
Strong communication skills, and highly credible presentation skills
Excellent English and Spanish language skills (verbal and written) and the confidence to communicate in a multi-cultural, multi-level environment
Comprehension of a diverse set of knowledge and information resources
