Primary Job Responsibilities
Lead quality problem resolutions on the floor, train assembly team members on proper rework methods, conduct root cause analysis, lead the five (5) step quality resolution process,
Make plant visits to investigate Android quality performance, and process customer returns.
Responsible for reporting 1) supplier defects, 2) Android defects and scrap, 3) returned goods, 4) completing the end of month report.
Systems - Ensures compliance with Android’s quality systems for resolving Android defects, Customer defects and Supplier Defects
Leadership - provides leadership through communicating quality status to the team and the managers, facilitating the setting of quality goals and provides the necessary training to continually improve Android’s quality
Team Skills - Works for the production team to help improve quality.
Safety - The quality coordinator is frequently in a leadership position and frequently substitutes for the Line Coordinator.
As a leader, the Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
Continuous Improvement - To stay competitive, to provide job security and to allow people to meet their goal of individual growth, the company must continually find ways to improve efficiency, eliminate waste and reduce overhead.
Each member of the Android team is responsible to help achieve the continuous improvement
Housekeeping - maintaining a safe and showroom cleanliness environment
Qualifications and Experience
Module product knowledge, operation of all machines, error proofing knowledge,
TS 16949 quality systems knowledge, production systems knowledge, basic math skills, basic computer aptitude, demonstrated leadership skills.
