This position will lead the facility towards becoming a world-class assembly operation by driving flawless execution of plant strategy deployment, maintaining safety protocols, and encouraging continuous improvement.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities :

Manage overall company metrics associated with the facility and tied to headquarter strategy deployment

Understand the cost structure, manage facility’s day-to-day financials and collaborate with Operations management and Finance teams to build annual budget and reforecast as needed

Use knowledge of manufacturing equipment and order systems to improve interactions with other departments and increase customer satisfaction

Drive process improvement by conducting Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), enhancing error proofing implementation, executing layered audits and managing control plans

Establish production plans based on demand, forecast to accomplish expected production and capacity planning

Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including safety, environment, quality, production, maintenance, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, information flow, material flow, and budget

Build a positive work environment that is consistent across the entire operation

Improve and sustain current quality systems by documenting standard operating procedures and work instructions

Establish and maintain positive customer relationships through on-time responses, following up on action tracker, conducting root cause analysis and documenting Corrective and Preventive actions

Monitor and maintain accurate account of all inventory to maintain optimal levels; make inventory adjustments as needed and address aging inventory

Provide plant updates during regular cross-functional Operations meetings

Lead monthly plant report out meetings and provide direction, support, and leadership on aligned initiatives

Confirm compliance to Key Account shipping instructions, product quality, routing guides, etc.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements :

Deep understanding of operations finance management including budgets, procurement and accrual process, and experience with executing Capital Expenditure projects

Understanding of lean production concepts

Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with understanding of data analytics tools preferred

Ability to understand process capability, gage capability, manufacturing rules

Experience with Quality System Management such as ISO 9001 / ISO TS 16949 / IATF, Corrective / Preventive Actions follow up, Product Change Management (Engineering Changes)

Statistical understanding Process and Measurement devices capability, Minitab preferred

Able to follow up on machine development

Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Understanding of warehouse management systems (Oracle EBS and / or WMS software preferred)

Experience in leading a large extended team and effective performance management skills

Passion for sports required, with passion / interest / knowledge for golf strongly preferred

Excellent verbal and written English

Able to think strategically

Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications :

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering or supply chain management

Master’s degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering or supply chain management preferred

10+ years of relevant experience in assembly, quality, manufacturing and warehousing

Experience managing operations financials, including budgets and cost structure

Formal training or professional certification in lean fundamentals required
