Full-cycle development and support of our iOS applications;
Demonstrate engineering excellence by writing clean, robust code and following an agile development methodology;
Define, design, and ship new features and enhancements, support and improve the existing ones;
Ensure and continuously improve the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application;
Collaborate with and provide feedback to the backend and modeling teams on improving the API and other services supporting our applications;
Help maintain code quality and organization, conduct code review, write unit tests;
Ensure the iOS libraries remain on the cutting edge of performance, ease of use, and security;
Support and mentor other developers on the team.
Skills & Qualifications
4+ years of software development experience including experience building high-performing, well-architected native iOS applications and / or API app libraries;
Deep understanding of core software concepts, including networking, security, memory management, multi-threading, and Android application life-cycle management;
Highly proficient in the following : iOS internals and SDK’s, performance characteristics on iOS, RESTful API design and implementation;
Experience with UI and Integration testing;
Experience building iOS SDKs for external consumption;
Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies;
Knowledge of latest mobile emerging technologies, architectures, and trends;
Strong problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and capable of collaborating across teams;
Conversational English skills (oral and written), including ability to write about and speak on technical topics;
Experience with analytics, machine learning, or similar data-centric products is preferred;
Bonus points for showing us App Store applications you’ve made, open source contributions, or other visible past work.
