What do you get to do in this position?

We are currently seeking a Procurement Project Manager to track top initiatives, follow up with stakeholders and team members in an organized and professional way using project management tools and other effective means of communication.

The role is very action oriented, but requires a skill set up influencing and collaboration. Top programs this role will support are initially : Supplier Vigilance Program a newly launched corporate and social responsibility initiative, Business to Business (B2B) reciprocal sales program, GPC Global Procurement performance measures (scorecard inputs) as well as other sustainable development programs and Procurement Effectiveness initiatives as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have Procurement, tools and project management experience in a critical role with demonstrated impact, results and follow through in the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Leadership competencies : embrace and exemplify Schneider Electric SCOPE values (straightforward, collaborative, open, passionate and effective) as well as overall leadership expectations (team player, team builder, decision maker, great professional & business developer).
  • For all projects, provide expert level project leadership including : detailed but concise meeting minutes, actions tracking and follow ups with team members in professional and reliable manner to ensure program success.
  • Role will partner strongly with VP, Global Procurement Chief of Staff (line manager) as well as the Director’s of Procurement Sustainable Development &
  • Effectiveness and their teams

  • Lead tracking and detailed project management / actions for
  • Supplier Vigilance program (corporate social responsibility audits)
  • B2B business to business top customer and supplier synergy program to drive revenue growth by better leveraging our suppliers
  • Global Procurement performance measures (Scorecard) inputs and monthly dashboard creation
  • Sustainable development support as required Procurement project support could include Conflict Minerals corrective action plans, Green Premium or others, to be determined and as needed
  • Global Contract management tracking and details of contracts being signed, how they are signed and additional related activity
  • Other projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Partner with project team leaders and team members to drive the results for all the managed projects
  • Define and follow process, governance and actions through professional project management approach
  • Support and track various escalation processes by ensuring fast follow up, documentation and resolution
  • Track and report progress for various initiatives on a monthly basis, giving quick visibility to issues and unresolved actions
  • Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement once validated
  • International travel required up to 25%
  • Qualifications

    You fit the following Requirements :

    Previous project management and Procurement / tools background

  • Stakeholder satisfaction and project leadership demonstrated success
  • Self-driven / motivated individual with strong communication, collaboration and influence skill set.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business in related field (i.e. Project Management / Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related field of study)
  • Experience working in a global project / matrix organization
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office, Project Management tools including MS Project, Access and other related tools.
  • Advanced English level
