Estamos buscando el candidato adecuado para cubrir este puesto en una empresa apasionanteAs the Director of Sales and Distriubtion for Mexico, you will oversee our commercial strategy, marketing, sales & distribution, for the Residential as well as for the Community Internet businesses.

This position will create and scale our new business by understanding our target markets, designing and leading execution on trade sales procedures.

The candidate will also manage a team of regional sales managers, field managers.The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of internet services and or the telecommunications market in Mexico and understand the internet needs of local communities, especially those under-served by traditional wireline internet service.

This person will possess the ability to set a vision, build a team, and employ a test-and-learn approach to execute measurable results.

Provide ongoing feedback to our product, pricing, operations, marketing and internal partner teams.Manage sales and commercial relationships, negotiations within Viasat guidelines.

Build, manage and execute the commercial budget & forecasting.Design strategic sales channels, partnerships and business models to fit the market and drive results.

Coordinate market & consumer investigations, to understand performance vs. competition.Lead sales & field teams to drive management of field sales KPIs and be proactive to data trends.

Drive teams to engage sales partners to build and continuously improve sales procedures by measuring outcomes and iterations.

Provide ongoing feedback on performance to partners and sales teams.Ensure coverage, sales and performance KPIs are being managed and align with pricing, channels & communication strategy.

Design and execute competition benchmark analysis on a constant basis.Lead sales teams to manage promotional offers and campaigns through the design and execution of strategic programs.

Interact with Viasat International corporate teams to align best practices.In addition to strong leadership capability, achievement of our partner success objectives requires strategic agility, program management skills, and a deep interest in trade sales and performance optimization.

You will hire, train, and coach our team to be a world-class sales and territory management team. You are a self-starter who can operate both tactically and strategically.

  • Sales success requires excellent business insight, regional expertise, creativity, and technical aptitude.?Requirements10+ years of experience in a consumer service industry, preferably FMCG or mobile prepaid services;
  • or internet, TV or home security services5+ years’ experience in a management position with responsibilitybuilding and supervising teams and remote employees, including first level managers.

    Experience in marketing to consumers, including digital marketing and online salesExperience developing and managing distribution channels, in emerging marketsExperience developing, forecasting and management sales metrics and budgets and partnering with other business leaders to do so.

    Experience developing and managing distribution channelsExperience developing key benchmarks and using analytics tools in measuring business performanceAbility to develop, prepare and present sales strategy using market data and business performance metrics, including to higher level leadershipDemonstrated success working cross-functionally in matrixed organizationsStrong communication skills in both writing and speakingDetailed knowledge Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)High tolerance for changeBachelor’s DegreeEnglish and Spanish fluency requiredTravel within Mexico required, including occasional travel to the USPreferencesMBA or equivalent strongly preferred
