The main responsibilities are :

  • Responsible for the design, architecture, and development of the test automation framework
  • Evolve our test tools and automation strategy
  • Be a key contributor to the continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline
  • Provide mentoring, technical guidance and training to testers wishing to improve their test automation skills
  • Keep up with modern test automation technologies and processes and help to adopt them
  • Identify improvements to automated tests to reduce false positives and their maintenance cost
  • Provide input into coding best practices with an emphasis on increasing code testability and test maintainability
  • Bachelor degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on testing automation and / or development experience.

    Knowledge of Java programming languaje and Selenium Webdriver. Knowledge of BDD (Cucumber) framework. Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and testing (REST Assured framework).

    Experience with CI / CD process including unit and integration tests, code management and build tools (Maven, Gradle, GitHub) and deployment tools (Jenkins).

    Experience integrating test harnesses and test results into continuous integrationand build environments. Hands-on experience with performance and load testing using Jmeter / Blazemeter.

    Knowledge of Unix, SQL, Java, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, etc. Skills in performance test baselining and execution. Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker.
