Responsibilities
Work on the Help Desk to Assist Portfolio Managers and Researchers with questions pertaining to vendor data sets that the firm uses on a daily basis
o Ability to assess problems and create tickets for appropriate development teams
o Ability to dig into existing data sets to identify the required data via
In depth research by using Linux and grep to search data through data sets
Communication with data vendors and internet searches emails to vendors
Assist with market data allocations by reviewing Excel reports and designing equitable models
Must have
3+ years of work experience
Bachelor degree or above

Ability and desired to operate in a fast paste environment and the ability to multitask
Comfortable working with developers and other technical staff
Skills
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal English
Ability to work with little supervision and work with team members across global offices
Solid Excel skills in particular VLOOKUP
Experience with Windows and Linux (operating in the Linux shell : grep, ls etc.)
Helpful : experience operating with Jira (but we can teach the Jira ticketing system if needed)
Experience
Experience working with data and financial data sets with vendors such as Refinitiv, Bloomberg, FactSet, Markit, etc.
Basic knowledge of financial instruments and the financial industry's lexicon
Nice to have
