Inside Sales Specialist
Omron Automation - Americas is looking for an energetic and focused Inside Sales Specialist for the Guadalajara area. The individual will be the initial and sustained inside sales contact for designated customers.
Act as the initial point of contact for prospective customers. For those designated, remain the ongoing inside sales contact for select accounts with an ability to understand customer needs from both a transactional and basic technology perspective to offer solutions as required.
Interact with Customer Support, Marketing, Technical Support and field sales teams in order to develop messages, build product knowledge and hand off sales opportunities
Qualify and convert potential leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows etc.
Build interest level of high value prospects and maintain contact to create sales opportunity and capture data about calls and prospects in order to identify quality of lead sources, marketing messages, and track workflow for each lead.
Initiate proactive campaigns for lead nurturing and accounts and work closely with regional sales managers on regional campaigns for upselling and cross-selling
Represent Omron in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner
Represents the Omron Guiding Principles through personal and business interactions with employees, distributors, and colleagues.
Minimum three years of inside sales or customer service experience in a technical sales role and / or 3 years industry experience demonstrating technical aptitude for a B2B manufacturing organization.
Fluent in Spanish and English
Working knowledge of Industrial Automation components or equivalent technical background from an Electrical, Mechanical or other engineering discipline.
Capable of taking a prospect through entire sales cycle to point of order
Experience working within and being measured in a Sales focused CRM, with Oracle being the preferred platform.
Ability to apply contemporary selling techniques i.e.) SPIN, customer centric selling, etc...
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with CRM software preferred.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships.
Competitive desire to win and appropriate relationship building skills are essential
Multi-task and work cross-functionally with proven organizational skills.
Team player mentality but able to work independently as required.
Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning and communication skills (written and oral)
