Carrying out a project profitability calculation (P2R), defining and specifying targets for development, material, production costs for product-specific and universal operating equipment or operating equipment design, as well as involvement in their administration in agreement with the superior.
Determining price recommendations and project key figures for superior organizational units.
Preparing project-related calculations (product life cycle) for new or changed designs in project development, involving the necessary organizational units, introduction, processing and evaluation of process investigations, as well as introducing Design-to-Cost (DtC) measures.
Involvement in defining production type and sequence for the realization of the overall project with the necessary lines, operating and testing equipment and indication of cost reduction possibilities.
Calculating new production projects, taking new methods into account, within the framework of existing internal instructions.
Determining available machine and line capacities and / or capacities to be planned for investment planning with regard to new projects, processing the required releases for new materials and additional operating equipment, within the framework of existing internal instructions.
Advising and supporting the organizational units responsible with regard to the design of new devices and individual parts, taking cost reduction aspects into account.
Testing and evaluating supplier specifications for appropriateness and correctness and drawing up specifications for make or buy decisions.
Preparing quotation calculations, taking local circumstances into account (machines, lines, production workflows etc.) and informing superiors as well as supporting local Hella companies and abroad in carrying out tasks according to this job description.
Analyzing and evaluating competitive products from external companies and carrying out actual / reference calculations from a calculation point of view.
Carrying out calculation-related evaluations / profitability calculations / make or buy analyses before relocation of production facilities in agreement with the superior.
Drafting or preparing documents for price negotiations to be carried out with Sales or customers, taking appropriate calculation methods into account.
Carrying out presentations of calculation results and analyses.
Involvement in value creation teams.
Guaranteeing and updating calculation tools and standards (e.g. customer-specific standard calculation elements).
Carrying out economic investigations for research and future technologies.
Determining target specifications for purchased parts / components and managing price negotiations with suppliers.
Supporting and advising project managers in economic matters within the framework of the Time to Market process in close cooperation with the project team, and indicating reference / actual deviations by means of calculations accompanying the projects.
Engineering bachelor s degree (desirable industrial engineer) or financial analyst
Advanced knowledge in Excel
From 1 to 2 years of experience in cost estimation in the Automotive / Manufacturing sector
Knowledge in finance (desirable)
