PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead the design of the new plant and warehouse layout to increase internal material handling efficiency
Lead the Internal Logistics Engineering team to issue recommendations in order to ensure the efficiency of internal material handling.
Identify process inefficiencies and correct them under logistic project manager supervision.
Prepare feasibility studies.
Prepare budget previsions and ensure proper follow-up.
Coordinate auxiliary projects.
Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the department manager.
Lead the Internal Logistics Engineering team to performs activities related to safety.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Minimum of two to 4 years as an Internal Logistics Engineer.
Experience supervising and leading teams.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong project management skills
Strong Budget tracking experience
Bilingual (English, Spanish), both oral and written
Strong skills in AutoCAD and SAP
Strong Six Sigma skills knowledge
Strong Analytical skills
Strong drive and motivation
Good punctuality and responsible
Very efficient communication
