Role Summary
He (she) is responsible for Leading the "Flowserve Lean Systems" and "ISTP - Integrated Site Transformational Plan" strategy throughout the Tlaxcala campus.
The position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing global operational excellence initiatives, training and talent development activities, as well as improvement strategies in coordination with the site leadership team.
Promote a strong culture of continuous improvement centered on people, through the elimination of waste and improvement of productivity.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Develop the Operational Excellence deployment plan (OPEX) to support the business objectives of the platform and the site.
Provide cross-functional visibility and strategic direction of ISTP - Integrated Site Transformation Plan activities.
Conduct follow-up meetings with program leaders
Maintains the site's "Planview" platform in collaboration with the program's "Central Leaders".
Coordinate multi-functional and multi-project activities and conversations.
Update "Planview" and approve date changes
Keeps the management committee informed of the status of ISTP
Prepare the presentation for the platform in collaboration with the Plant Management.
Ensure that action plans related to ISTP are closed on time.
Ensure the alignment of the Macroboard and the ISTP.
Support the site plants with the implementation of OPEX by promoting events / improvement projects (Line functions and work groups are responsible for the results of the implementation)
Lead OPEX reviews on site, tracking progress and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Develop, pilot and train in Lean methodologies and concepts in conjunction with site plants (for example 6S, YB, SFM, TPM, EADs, etc)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Engineer (a) Graduated from any professional career
Manufacturing Systems and / or Lean Six Sigma
Process Engineer, Project Management, Quality Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer
Interpretation of the ISO9001 Standard
Black Belt Lean and / or Six Sigma Certification
