Architecture Full-Time Professor
The School of Architecture, Art & Design at Tecnológico de Monterrey is the only National School in Mexico in these fields of knowledge.
We have a nation-wide impact through our presence in 9 cities and 12 campuses where we offer our three complete programs in Architecture, Design, and Animation & Digital Art.
We have more than 5,800 students and more than 670 faculty members. That is why we are the only school in Mexico to offer faculty mobility through these 12 campuses plus our entire international network.
We have two main strategic projects that search to have a deep impact on the transformation of our disciplines and position our school as the best and most advanced in terms of innovation and social awareness.
Our first strategic project concentrates on the development of Design Strategies towards a Citizen-oriented Urbanism. Our main goal is to achieve a strong connection between our students and the real problems we are facing.
In the same spirit, we have called the second strategic project Design for Social Innovation. Our main goal, in this case, is to develop the needed competencies to focus design processes for the public good and public interest.
For these 2 projects, we have created a national framework through five regional C-Lab’s that will host and foster research and external projects where our faculty and students can develop all their creative work and processes.
As part of our institutional transformation toward a challenge-based education that will develop in our students the professional competences needed to approach Real Challenges that our environment and society are facing now and, in the future, we are about to launch our 3 undergraduate programs under this new model we have called Tec 21.
Working at Tecnológico de Monterrey you will find the unique opportunity to be part of a brand new education model as you build valuable academic experiences within our community and culture of technological innovation, entrepreneurship and our passion to transform lives.
The main challenge in this role is to lecture and strengthen the area of research in heritage, history and / or sustainability.
Engage academic projects with external agents and the involvement of public forums is also a target.
