Mondelez International is looking for vacancy : Procurement Specialist Manager-Indirect. Position Purpose Procurement Specialist Mgr will be the face to local stakeholders in manufacturing sites related to suppliers service, quality or safety issues.
Be the main connect between Indirect Spend Area, POC and plants to initiate and execute innovation, productivity and BCP.
Supports local purchasing requests in collaboration with the Spend Area management organization, and manage efficient contracts implementation and acceptance on site.
The role will act as a point of contact towards the internal customer for Procurement related questions. Works with business, end users, or Master Shoppers in given countries acting as valued and trusted Business Partner.
Works with global or regional Spend Area teams to implement contracts locally and to provide local specifics on demand or requirements.
Main Responsibilities Day to Day Operational or Project Management responsibilities :
Acts as the single point of contact for the Procurement function for key stakeholders at a plant / country for Indirect.
Primary interface with local business / Integrated Supply Chain & other functions to align business strategy with procurement requirements.
Ensure solid reports on performance in each area, actively participate in the identification of issues and the gaps, in collaboration with the global, regional Spend.
Areas team (inform / engage stakeholders if needed) and support the definition of improvement plan.
Gather local internal customers’ requirements.Provide insights on local supplier market.
Identify with stakeholders any local legal requirements that necessitate an adaptation of the contract or specific communications with suppliers.
Support local supplier qualification assessment.
Support the development of the contract implementation plan.
Diffuse and ensure the respect of the Procurement procedures.
Guarantee efficient use of the purchasing systems by all users providing them assistance when necessary.
Build up solid information sharing and collaboration routines with local Plant Managers to facilitate effective cross-
functional interactions for Indirect.
Know the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of the position. Raise questions and concerns when faced with an ethical or compliance issue.
Apply integrity in all aspects of professional conduct.
Strategic or Spot Buy Support responsibilities :
Upon request by the Procurement center or Spend Area Manager during the sourcing process provide input on local spend situation and Spend Area practices.
Gather local internal customers’ requirements.
Provide insights on local supplier market.
Identify with stakeholders any local legal requirements that necessitate an adaptation of the contract.
Support local supplier qualification a
Bachelor Degree : preferably in business administration or commerce or Engineering.
Proven track record of qualification in procurement (more than 5+ years).
Demonstrated success in business process gained in Sourcing / Purchasing areas.
Proven experience working with multifunctional teams.
Experience working in Procurement environment within a large international environment for 5 years.
Fluent spoken / written English & Spanish.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, pro-activity .
Strength of character and tenacious approach to ensure timely resolution.
Ability to work effectively in an international and cross functional environment.
Strong Customer Service orientation / Senior Stakeholder Management.
Organization of own work and the ability to gain the cooperation of colleagues in other departments in order to meet priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities & ability to deal with ambiguity.
Strong systems skills : SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point...).
