Amazon Marketplace is seeking a dynamic and motivated executive to acquire and manage key accounts. The Account Executive will develop a sales pipeline mix of high value and transactional accounts, recruit and launch businesses to sell their products in www.
amazon.com.mx and manage the portfolio to grow their sales.
Specifically, this individual will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision-
makers within the executive teams of prospective accounts, along with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.
After the acquisition, the account manager will build the success of those accounts by providing business insights, training, support and seller education.
Core Responsibilities :
Identify, qualify, and grow seller commitment to the Selling on Amazon program through FBA
Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your territory. Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
Develop a clear understanding of the Selling on Amazon products along with the features and functionalities.
Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings
Engage with merchants to understand their needs and gauge fit with the Amazon Services product set.
Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Selling on Amazon product.
Manage numerous opportunities concurrently and strategically.
Analyze customer data and make recommendations in order to maximize the potential of the assigned territory. Execute successfully on the plan recommended
Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the respective territory.
Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal team.
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and operational metrics.

BA / BS degree or certificate of completion of studies required
A background 10+ yrs or 4+ years in buying, account management, product management, project management, financial analysis and / or marketing
Minimum of 2+ years negotiation experience
3-5 years of data analysis, problem solving and project management skills
3-5 years managing large data sets using Excel
Fluent in English / Spanish
Master's degree (MBA) from top tier Business School
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail, a high level of flexibility, commitment, and a sense of humor.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and vendor management experience a must
Strong numerical and analytical aptitude - must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SQL and Microsoft Access a plus.
Proven experience leading cross-functional projects
Proactive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and dig deep to achieve goals
Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
