Contract AccountingWHAT YOU WILL DO?

  • Complete Booking (Contract release & maintenance) & Billing Project Accounting (Process incoming invoices, posting, dealing with attachments, lien waivers, distribution) activities for a specific region and business partners to ensure that the business needs are being met whilst at the same time ensuring that JCI meets all its internal and external reporting and control requirements (48h SLA target).
  • Responsibility and Assistance with month-end, quarterly, annual closings (owning the specified booking and billing queue to be cleaned up and hitting the business budgeted targets)
  • Complete the close process in line with the group and local timetables
  • Customer Satisfaction / Total Quality- Ability to recognize, respond to customer expectations with sense of urgency and even increase expectations
  • Regular communication via phone (process by communicating with dispute resolvers, and escalating unresolved cases and issues) and email with Customer Business Units in US Retain Organization and Business Partner on branches.
  • Coordinate resolution of discrepancies with customers
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Maintaining procedures and transaction processing
  • Ensure compliance with corporate JCI policies, procedures and processes
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • WHAT YOU NEED?

  • Fluent in English , strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 2 years as Finance Analyst or similar with a degree in business administration or professional experience focusing on Finance / Accounting.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, including :
  • Database design and implementation.
  • VBA for Excel an advantage
  • Ability to utilize formulas to enhance automation
  • Utilize Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
  • development of Views, Tables and scripts for automation - preferred
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, communication, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced team environment while meeting deadlines
  • Experience in ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle, iScala) is an advantage
  • Solid self-management
  • Product Portfolio Manager
  • Team player with pro-active approach and problem solving personality
  • Good Analytical thinker
  • Experience of working in Shared Service Centre / Retained / Outsourced environment an advantage
